DILLIDUR 500VAR Steel is crafted with a blend of carbon, manganese, chromium, molybdenum, and nickel, giving it remarkable hardness and abrasion resistance. It features a hardness range of 470–530 HBW, ensuring a long service life even in highly abrasive environments. With a tensile strength of about 1,600–1,900 MPa and a yield strength around 1,200 MPa, it offers excellent load-bearing capacity. Despite its hardness, it maintains good toughness and crack resistance when subjected to impact. DILLIDUR 500VAR also has good weldability with the right preheating, making it suitable for the demanding fabrication needs of heavy industries.
