500 BHN plates and sheets are abrasion-resistant, ultra-hard steel made of carbon (0.25-0.35%), manganese, silicon, chromium, nickel, and molybdenum, which provide strength and toughness. They provide superior mechanical properties, such as tensile strength of 1600 MPa, yield strength of 1400 MPa, and elongation of 8-10%. Benefits include better wear resistance, high impact strength, and longer service life, and therefore they are most suitable for cement, construction, mining, and power plants. These plates lower the maintenance costs and increase efficiency under harsh working conditions.
