400 BHN sheets and plates are strong, abrasion-resistant steel for heavy-duty usage. They contain carbon (0.20-0.30%), manganese, chromium, nickel, and molybdenum to increase hardness and wear resistance. Plates have good toughness, weldability, and impact properties. Mechanical properties have a tensile strength of 1250 MPa, yield strength of 1000 MPa, and elongation of 10-12%. Benefits are higher durability, longer service life, lower maintenance cost, and application in mining, construction, and industrial equipment use.
