S355J2G3 plates and sheets are high-strength, low-carbon structural steel with good weldability and toughness. The chemical composition consists of carbon (≤0.20%), manganese (≤1.60%), silicon (≤0.55%), phosphorus (≤0.035%), and sulfur (≤0.035%), providing strength and resistance to corrosion. It boasts a minimum yield point of 355 MPa and tensile strength of 470-630 MPa with impact strength of 27J at -20°C. This steel has greater mechanical properties with which it responds to heavy construction, bridges, and industrial construction where strength and toughness are particularly needed.
