The primary alloying constituents of the Carbon Steel JIS G3461 Pipe are carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, and silicon. They show excellent mechanical properties for usage under high pressure and temperature. Its basic content contains 0.12-0.20% carbon and 0.30-0.60% manganese along with trace elements of phosphorus and sulfur.Its major mechanical properties are tensile strength between 400 to 530 MPa, yield strength of 245 MPa, and elongation of 20 to 25 %. These attributes give a pipe robust corrosion resistance, strength at high temperature, and resistance to durability for its use in heat exchangers, boilers, and various demanding industrial conditions.
