Alloy Steel Grade 5 Foil consists of chromium (0.50-0.80%), molybdenum (0.25-0.40%), manganese (0.70-1.00%), carbon (0.28-0.33%), phosphorus (≤0.035%), sulfur (≤0.040%), and silicon (0.15-0.35%). This alloy has high tensile strength (up to 850 MPa), superior hardness (Rockwell C30-35), and high yield strength (approximately 680 MPa).It exhibits good resistance to wear, toughness, and durability, thus making it a good fit for aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications. Its high machinability and resistance to heat deliver reliable performance under extreme conditions beyond industry expectations of strength and resistance to corrosion.
