Alloy Steel T12 tubing is a seamless ferritic alloy steel product consisting of carbon (max 0.15%), manganese (0.30–0.61%), phosphorus (max 0.025%), sulfur (max 0.025%), chromium (0.80–1.25%), and molybdenum (0.44–0.65%). Chromium and molybdenum in combination offer superior resistance to oxidation, high-temperature strength, and creep resistance. T12 tubing has a minimum tensile strength of 415 MPa and a minimum yield strength of 205 MPa.
