Carbon Steel EN-9 Bars are medium carbon steel bars primarily made of iron, containing about 0.50%–0.60% carbon along with small amounts of manganese, silicon, and trace elements. This unique blend strikes a great balance between strength and hardness. Typically, EN-9 bars showcase tensile strength ranging from 600–750 MPa and a yield strength of around 400 MPa, with Brinell hardness values between 180 and 240 HB. These bars can also be heat-treated (hardened and tempered) to enhance their mechanical properties, making them perfect for demanding mechanical and structural applications.
