Carbon Steel EN-19 Bars consist mainly of carbon, manganese, chromium, and molybdenum, providing a balanced mix of strength, toughness, and resistance to wear. The standard composition is 0.38-0.43% carbon, 0.60-0.90% manganese, 0.90-1.20% chromium, and 0.15-0.25% molybdenum. All these elements add to its mechanical properties, such as high tensile strength of 850-1000 MPa, yield strength of 600-850 MPa, and an elongation percentage of approximately 15-20%. The bars have good fatigue resistance, impact strength, and machinability and are therefore suitable for heavy-duty use in automotive, engineering, and manufacturing sectors.
